Hi,
I temporarily joined BlogSuccess after having created my first blog about health, wellness and back pain at http://backbenimble.blogspot.com/
This is a blogger format and after I read some of the info at Blog Success, I’m wondering why everyone likes Wordpress better than Blogger. Is there something wrong with my blog being on Blogger? Please take a look at it and advise.

You have more control with a Wordpress blog. More flexibility to advertise the way you want.
Plus if you ever wanted to sell your blog (people do sell them for a lot of money once they have built up large enough traffic volumes) you won’t be able to because you have no domain name. Its the domain name that is your ticket not always the content.
Plus if you break their terms and conditions – even by accident they can shut down your blog tomorrow and what would happen to all your content. Just make sure you are backing up your content regularly by exporting it into your computer.
At the end of the day having your own domain is more professional and you can decide what your site looks like and how it is run/managed.
If you wanted to add a membership site to your blog and make money that way you can with a Wordpress blog.
There are just too many reasons to list but a self hosted Wordpress blog works – and it works well.
